The Thread Jacket is a one-of-one wearable artwork created from years of saved scrap thread. Multicolored strands are intuitively layered and secured with zigzag stitching over a reclaimed black denim foundation, transforming the remnants of earlier projects into a dense, tactile surface.
Despite the complexity of its construction, the jacket is remarkably soft and flexible. The interior is finished with a patchworked scrap-fabric lining that echoes the colors of the exterior.
