TIC Jacket No. 01 is the first garment in Addison Stonestreet’s TIC series. The piece began as a seven-ounce ungessoed canvas painted around 2014 and was later reconstructed into a fully wearable jacket.
Its surface combines liquid acrylic color, original drawings, painted imagery, repeated TIC marks, language about Tourette’s, and alcohol-based marker. Layers of personal narrative and visual information transform the garment into a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.
